Newly produced automobiles can be delivered all over the nation via Pune Railway, mostly from the stations in Chinchwad, Khadki, and Loni. There is a unique mechanism for transferring automobiles to railroad coaches at these locations.
In December, as many as 86 freight trains delivered brand-new automobiles from these stations to markets around the nation. Manoj Zhanwar, the Pune Railway’s public relations officer, reported that the company earned Rs. 13.80 crore from it. In April of last year, there were 66 freight trains, which set the previous record for new vehicle traffic in a month. The increase in traffic in December is to blame for this new record. The Railway Business Development Team, led by the Pune Railway Manager Indurani Dubey, Additional Manager Brijesh Kumar Singh, Senior Commercial Manager Dr. Milind Hirve, and Senior Transport Manager Dr. Swapnil Nila, worked hard to set this milestone.
